Carson Armory provides concealed carry classes for both Nevada residents and non-residents. Our instructors have certification from the Nevada Chiefs and Sheriffs Association. Classes are typically scheduled twice a month on Saturdays. We recommend contacting us for specific scheduling information.

Yes, we facilitate firearm transfers. This includes private party transfers between Nevada residents and out-of-state transfers. Both types require a background check. Please contact us for information on fees. It's worth noting that transfers between immediate family members who are Nevada residents don't require background checks.

While we don't provide full gunsmithing services, we do offer certain firearm-related services. These include bore sighting most rifles, mounting scopes, and performing basic armorer's tasks on AR platform weapons and some common handguns.

The ability to purchase firearms as a non-Nevada resident depends on the type of firearm. Federal law permits over-the-counter handgun sales only to Nevada residents, though we can ship to a dealer in your state. For long guns (rifles or shotguns), we can sell to residents of many states, but not all. California residents, for example, are not eligible for these purchases.

We do accept firearms on consignment. Whether you have a single firearm or an entire collection, we're equipped to assist with their sale. Additionally, we also purchase firearms directly.

Nevada does not have a firearm registration program for any type of firearm. As a new resident, you're free to possess your firearms without registration. We encourage all firearm owners to practice safe and responsible gun ownership.
